Come learn about how California wants to upgrade water infrastructure in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta to improve delivery of water to Southern California. As engineers of the 21st century, how can we design a $15 billion system using large diameter tunnels and pump stations to improve water supply while promoting environmental sustainability? The project will integrate international resources using technologies and research to expand beyond the current design envelope.
