ASCE: Metropolitan Los Angeles Branch Younger Member Forum (MLAB-YMF)

_igp4185

Welcome to The Metropolitan Los Angeles Branch Younger Member Forum (MLAB YMF) website. Within our site you will find information, events, opportunities and resources that our group puts together to provide young civil engineers the opportunity to get involved in ASCE early in their careers.

Our award winning group represents the LA County including the five local universities (CSULA, CSUN, LMU, UCLA and USC). Our goal is to provide the tools necessary for our younger members to become successful civil engineers, by hosting a wide array of events that will educate, inform, entertain, and challenge you both professionally and personally.

I have had the privilege of seeing our younger members become great leaders and role models because of their involvement with MLAB YMF. A great example of this is our current board of directors, which is composed of executive officers and committee chairs. They have all been diligently working to plan events that allow us to give back to our communities, promote our profession, educate the public and plant an engineering seed in the minds of our future engineers.

I encourage you to visit our website often, as you will find that we update it on a weekly basis. Also, feel free to contact me if you have any questions or suggestions.
